Registration Deadlines

Registration is required for all sessions, technical or optional. The registration deadlines are: 

  • Presenter Registration Deadline: May 10, 2021
  • Attendee Registration Deadline: June 30, 2021

All students are eligible for registration discounts as are oral and poster presenters. AVS Platinum Members will also receive a registration discount. Invited Speakers will receive a registration waiver and will be pre-registered automatically once you agree to present.

Registration Policies

  • Payment: Fees must be received in order to view the presentations. If you register on or after June 27, 2021, please note there may be delays in accessing the live and On Demand sessions.
  • Cancellation: If for any reason you cannot attend the ALD/ALE 2021 Virtual Meeting you must contact AVS at 530-896-0477, heather@avs.org by June 25, 2021, to receive a refund, less a $50.00 processing fee.  No refunds can be given for cancellations after June 25, 2021.

AVS Membership Discounts

It’s not too late to save on your ALD/ALE registration and gain year round access to the AVS Technical and Publications Libraries as well as additional conference and webinar discounts. Join during the registration process for:

  • AVS Platinum Membership: $125
  • AVS Student Platinum Membership: $40

**AVS Platinum Members will have access to all the ALD/ALE 2021 (and 2020) On Demand Sessions in the AVS Technical Library until their membership expiration date.**
